Set within 20 acres of land and overlooking two Lochs to each side, the hotel boasts magnificent views of the surrounding countryside and local 9 hole golf course. Lochside House Hotel is ideally situated for people wishing to tour Ayrshire and the outlying districts. The hotel was taken over in 1999 by Robert and Vivien Kyle and was extensively extended and refurbished to achieve a Four star rating from the Scottish Tourist Board.

The Hotel has two suites, The Lowes and The Creoch, with a further fifteen single, double or twin rooms. In addition, we also have three luxury cottages on the grounds with en-suite facilities and living room.
Cottages
The Cottages are the perfect choice whether on a business trip or travelling with the family. There is space aplenty to work, rest and play! Tastefully renovated and decorated you can be sure you will feel relaxed and rested after your stay.
Standard and Double
All standard and double rooms have been completely refurbished and are furnished to a high standard. All rooms have an En-suite with shower and bath facilities, Colour TV, Telephone and Tea making facilities.
Executive Rooms
The Executive room comes with a choice of twin beds or a queen sized bed. Every Executive room in the hotel has a view over the loch. All rooms have an En-suite with shower and bath facilities, Colour TV, Telephone and Tea making facilities.
Creoch Suite
The Creoch Suite has a traditional bath and shower and a balcony overlooking the Loch of the Lowes and the Afton hills. There is a luxurious couch to relax on and a bureau should you require to catch up with your correspondance. When night finally falls there is a king size bed to retire to.
Lowes Suite
Decorated in an African theme the Lowes suite has a walk-in double shower and large jacuzzi bath. Full length glass doors open out onto a small balcony overlooking the Loch of the Lowes and the Afton hills.

Restaurant...Within the restaurant there are several menus to choose from. The menus themselves have been carefully assembled by head chef Nicola Irving, and are certain to provide something for everyone.
Whatever the occasion...In the restaurant you have the choice of a table by the window, where you can enjoy the relaxing view of the rolling Afton Hills. Or choose to sit nearer the fireside for that warmer experience. They also have quieter, intimate nooks for those special meals. Whatever the occasion they can provide the setting.

THE LOCHVIEW SUITE
The Suite has floor to ceiling windows with open aspects to two sides overlooking the gardens and terraces and the stunning Loch of Lowes. The Suite can accommodate up to 220 guests
THE GLEN CAOL SUITE
The suites main feature being the barreled ceiling, with crystal chandeliers focusing towards the large floor to ceiling picture window which look directly over the loch to the rear of the hotel. The Suite can accommodate up to 180 guests for a meal and 220 guests for an evening function.
THE GLEN CAOL LOUNGE
The Glen Caol lounge is furnished with a more contemporary image yet in keeping with the surrounding of the hotel as a whole. This area has a fabulous log effect fire creating a warm atmosphere upon entering the suite. The suite can accommodate up to 60 guests.
THE NITHSDALE SUITE
The suite offers fabulous views over the gardens, which feature a red sandstone bridge. The Nithsdale Suite is decorated and furnished in traditional style with hand-painted Rennie Mackintosh style wall decoration. The suite can accommodate up to 50 guests.
THE AARON SUITE
Located on the first floor of the hotel the Aaron Suite offers accommodation for small private dinners. Comfortably decorated in a traditional style with wrought iron chandelier and wall light and tartan carpet the suite offers guests with a comfortable environment for all types of events. The suite can accommodate up to 30 guests.

Take A77 to Kilmarnock. At Kilmarnock take A76 heading for Dumfries. Pass through Mauchline, bypass Auchinleck and Cumnock staying on the A76 towards New Cumnock. Lochside House Hotel is situated half a mile outside New Cumnock on the right hand side before the golf course.
From Dumfries - The South
Take A76 heading for Kilmarnock. Pass through Sanquhar, Kirconnel and New Cumnock.
Lochside House Hotel is situated half a mile north of New Cumnock on left hand side after the golf course.
