Both Glasgow International Airport and Glasgow Prestwick Airport are within a one hour's drive from Turnberry. Glasgow airport is host to over over 40 airlines serving approximately 80 cities worldwide. Glasgow Prestwick Airport offers flights to and from over 25 European cities. Scotland's second biggest airport Edinburgh International is a two hours' drive away.
There are also two helicopter landing pads at Turnberry.
By rail:
Ayr railway station is just 20 minutes from Turnberry. Alternatively, the Maybole and Girvan stations are 10 minutes away. Find schedule and fare information online at the trainline.
By Ferry:
There are three ferry terminals within an hour's drive of Turnberry: Stranraer and Cairnryan to the south and Troon to the north.
Cairnryan and Troon terminals are accessible from Larne, Northern Ireland while Stranraer ferry departs from Belfast, Northern Ireland.
