Stay

Palmeral means palm tree plantation and originally there was one where the hotel now stands.There are stilll some palm trees from this plantation in the hotel´s gardens. El Palmeral is only 30 metres from the most pleasant and residential of Benidorm´s beaches. A highly recommended walk is from the hotel to the new Poniente promenade, opened in July 2009 and designed by the prestigious Catalan architect Carlos Ferrater. The promenade is constructed with gardens and different coloured paths and simulates the waves of the sea.

Eat

Some of the best restaurants in town are a La Cala, at the end of Poniente Beach. They are famous for their Mediterranean cuisine, with fish food, paellas and vegetable dishes. We can highly recommend La Cuina de Ponent where Miguel Angel expertly prepares delicious rice dishes( that need to be eaten with a spoon to fully appreciate their taste), elaborate apetihers and original desserts. Only a short distance away is Art a la Cuina (art in the Kitchen) where Basilio has a well deserved reputation for being one of our best chefs. His menus are a gourmet´s delight.
