    The Cricketing nations gather for the One Day International Cricket World Cup.

    Held every four years, Australia will be attempting to win the Cup back.

  • Adelaide V8 Supercars Clipsal 500 February

    V8 SuperCars Clipsal 500 on the Adelaide Street Circuit.

    Over 4 days commencing on Thursday 26th February 2015

    It's going to be action packed on track.  The V8 Supercars, the fastest and meanest beasts on wheels, return to Australia's best street circuit in Adelaide to battle for supremacy. 

    The 2015 V8 Supercar Championship Series will be supported by a stellar line up of feature race categories.

    Clipsal 500 Adelaide is Australia's largest domestic motor sport event. Last years event impress with some of the biggest changes in the race's history with the introduction two races on Saturday and twilight races on both Saturday and Sunday.

    Spectators again will be treated to more action with Holden, Ford, Volvo, Nissan and Mercedes together on the grid to take the trophy for the 2015 Clipsal 500 Adelaide.  

    Legendary Australian rock band, Cold Chisel, will return to where it all began to headline the Sunday night concert at the iconic Clipsal 500 Adelaide on 1 March 2015.

     

  • Adelaide Festival February

    The Adelaide Festival, also known as the Adelaide Festival of Arts, is an arts festival held annually in Adelaide. It is considered to be one of the world's major celebrations of the arts, and a pre-eminent cultural event in Australia. Held from 27th February to the 15th March.

     

    Begun in 1960, the Adelaide Festival is held in the autumnal month of March. It is actually made up of several events, but overall features include opera, theatre, dance, classical and contemporary music, cabaret, literature, visual art and new media.

    The festival is based in the city centre, principally in venues along the cultural boulevard of North Terrace, but also elsewhere in the city and its parklands. The Adelaide Festival Centre and River Torrens usually form the nucleus of the event, and in recent years Elder Park has played host to opening ceremonies.
