    The RDS Dublin Horse Show is one of Ireland's largest events. Each year it welcomes tens of thousands of people from Ireland and all over the world, and is without doubt one of the highlights of the summer. The RDS Dublin Horse Show offers the finest display of competitive international show jumping.

     

    In addition to the Nation's Cup, there are 10 other international competitions during the five-day event. With seating for over 20,000 spectators the main arena comes alive as the competition begins on 7th - 11th August 2013

    Electric Picnic is an annual arts-and-music festival which has been staged since 2004 at Stradbally Hall in Stradbally, County Laois, Ireland. It is organised by Pod Concerts and Festival Republic, who purchased the majority shareholding in 2009. It was voted Best Medium-Sized European Festival at the 2010 European Festival Awards, and has been voted Best Big Festival at each of the last four Irish Festival Awards since they began in 2007

    Every year, FIP organises the World Congress of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, where thousands of pharmacists meet, learn, share and exchange views. Lectures, plenary sessions, poster exhibitions and section programmes, together with Council meetings and the Leadership Conference make this event the premier international event in pharmacy each year. The social side - finding new friends and greeting old ones - complements the varied Congress programme. The annual Congress also serves the Young Pharmacists Group with specially planned sessions and workshops focussed on current issues facing this unique segment of the profession.

  • Dublin Beer Festival September

    The Irish Craft Beer& Cider Festival returns to RDS, Dublin from 5-8th September 2013. A celebration of Irish craft brewing, live music and fabulous Irish artisan food.

    This Gathering of Brewers features over 25 Irish craft beer and cider producers from all four corners of Ireland.  10,000attendees are expected over the four days to meet the brewers and to sample over 100 different beers and ciders, many of which are available only at the festival!

    For the first time, the festival will host master classes and Interactive Q & A sessions about the different attributes of Irish Craft Beer/Cider, and the foods that best compliment them.
