The Townhouse Details
The Townhouse Guest House Glasgow is aptly named due to it being an elegantly restored Victorian townhouse. In the last decade the interior building has been beautifully decorated and adorns a pine furnishing theme throughout. Group bookings are a speciality via hotels.tv.
Guests can choose between single, double, twin, triple, quad and family guest rooms. Most rooms include en suite facilities and the expected mod cons such as direct dial telephone, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities. This impressive Victorian Townhouse has 19 bedrooms all equipped in a tasteful pine theme.
The guest house has its own private breakfast room for the exclusive use of our guests. The breakfast room is comfortably laid out and tastefully furnished.
The Townhouse is ideally situated between Glasgow’s city centre and west end. Most of the local attractions are within walking distance or a short drive. Glasgow’s streets are lined with pubs, restaurants, shops and many other attractions. It is clearly a city of culture obvious from its architecture, history, art galleries, theatres, museums and much more.
Situated between 2 of Glasgow’s most famous streets, Sauchiehall Street and Argyll Street and adjacent to Kelvingrove Street.
If travelling on the M8 westbound you should take the Charing Cross exit, number 19. Go straight on passing the famous Mitchell Library and Theatre on your left. Turn left into Sauchiehall Street and drive straight on turning right into Kelvingrove then immediately right into Royal Crescent.
If travelling eastbound you should also take the Charing Cross exit which unusually slips off on the right hand side. Keep in the right lane and turn right at Sauchiehall Street. Follow directions as above.
Glasgow International Airport is 10 miles from the Townhouse and Prestwick Airport is 35 miles from the Townhouse. Both airports are linked to Glasgow City Centre by bus and Prestwick Airport also had a direct link by train to Glasgow’s Central Station. Glasgow’s main bus station is Buchanan bus station which is only a short taxi ride from the Townhouse.
