Up-to-the-minute technology is obviously a must for a building of such character and refinery therefore the 'Bang and Olufsen' televisions on motorised stands with built in DVD/CD player, 'Bose' speakers and digital cordless telephones and answering machines to name but a few can only make your stay beyond comfortable.

The restaurant Le Cercle, offers its popular menu formula of tapas style French dishes for lunch and diner, Tuesday to Saturday. Le Cercle is operated by the award winning team from Club Gascon, a Michelin starred restaurant in the City.

Phoenix House is a fabulous development of 33 beautifully designed and luxuriously appointed apartments situated on a quiet street just off Sloane Square. Interiors are by Fox Linton, the designer of No.1 Aldwych, whose attention to detail shows quite clearly throughout. The feeling of space in each apartment and rates offered, by comparison with a four-star hotel room, is marked, and represents some of the best value accommodation you will find in a major city like London.

Shopping in Kings Road and Sloane Street is painfully easy from their location and it is quiet too, the designers having paid careful attention to soundproofing the apartments from each other as well as from any external noise. And whilst it is not appropriate to judge a property like this by star ratings, because of the service element, the level of provision at Phoenix House is easily up there with any high-end four star and even some five star hotels in the capital.
